Food and Water

Gracie eats twice a day. Once in the morning when she wakes up, usually around 7:30 or so. Then again in the evening around 6:30 p.m. She'll let you know when it's dinner time. Mention the 'F' word and she'll go nuts.

We always make Gracie go outside in the morning before she gets fed. She'll tell you she doesn't have to go but just in case we take her.

Her food container has a measuring cup with a green line drawn on it. We usually give her food just below that line. Lately we've gotten a lot of comments about how fat she looks so we've been cutting her back a little.

When we fill up her food dish we also give her fresh water in the other dish.

The Crate

Gracie is a spoiled girl since her mom works from home. She usually runs free and lazily sits in the sunshine all day. When we can't be home with her we usually put her in her crate. She should be able to hold it for at least 8 hours.

At night Gracie likes to sleep with us but sometimes she can be annoying with her tossing and turning so we put her in the crate until the morning.

We take her to go potty before we put her in just in case.
